On Thursday morning, the Western Kentucky football program announced a date of April 20, 2024 for their annual Red & White Spring Showcase. 

Kickoff is set for 2 PM CT, 3 PM ET at Houchens-Smith Stadium. Fans are permitted and admission is free. Streaming info was not part of the initial announcement.

The game will mark the end of spring practices for the Hilltoppers, which begin on March 11.

Western Kentucky finished the 2023 season with a record of 8-5 and a win in the Famous Toastery Bowl. WKU finished with the #2 scoring offense in CUSA last season with 30.5 points per game.Following the departure of quarterback Austin Reed, the spring showcase will be fans' first opportunity to see transfer quarterback T.J. Finley in a Hilltopper uniform. 

The Tops will officially kick off the 2024 season on August 31 at Alabama. 2024 will be the Tops' sixth season under Tyson Helton.
