CINCINNATI — Reds ace Hunter Greene remains on the injured list due to groin and back injuries.

Greene is scheduled to throw next Wednesday (July 2) ahead of the Reds' series finale in Boston. It's expected to be a bullpen session accordin to manager Terry Francona.

Meanwhile, Austin Hays will hit for the Chattanooga Lookouts on Tuesday and play in the outfield on Wednesday. There's a chance he's back in the lineup for the Reds at the end of the week.

They host the Padres at Great American Ballpark on Friday.
