'I Don't Know' - Ja'Marr Chase Gives His Opinion on Potentially Playing Olympic Flag Football

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Ja'Marr Chase has scored multiple flag football touchdowns in the NFL Pro Bowl Games but is hesitant to commit to the Olympic version happening at the 2028 games in Los Angeles, California.
The Bengals star wide receiver gave his thoughts on the new event after an OTA session on Tuesday.
"I don't know," Chase said about playing. "I want to hear more information about it. I want to know the timing for us, offseason, in season. I want to know if we're getting paid. I want to know where we traveling every other week or every day, like all that plays a part, because we have an offseason, we have a life. How long would that be? I don't know. There's a lot of questions to it. I think it's pretty cool, but I'm not really 100% on it yet."
Fair questions, and he is cognizant of the people already playing across the world who have given their all to just make it an Olympic sport in the first place.
"We taking they love of the game, and bashing it with our love of the game," Chase said about NFL players swooping in to play every four years. "Now we taking away their love of the game and we killing them. It's a lot, bro, I think it's cool, but I just don't know if I'm 100% in on it."
There is plenty of time to hammer out the details, but Chase is a clear strong flag football candidate with his size and speed at 6 feet, 205 pounds.
The 2028 Olympic Games are being held in L.A. from July 14-30.
Ja'Marr Chase has mixed feelings on if he would or wouldn't want to play in the Olympics. Chase has questions he wants answers to. Also Ja'Marr spoke about the respect he has for people who play and love flag football as opposed to the pro-NFL players. #Bengals @WCPO pic.twitter.com/uz0IBdkQHN
