CINCINNATI — Mike Hilton hasn't officially played his final snap with the Bengals, but more fuel got added to that exit fire with his latest X post on Monday.

The veteran Cincinnati cornerback posted, "New opportunities always present themselves" with a praying emoji on the site. A sign that the Bengals front office may not want Hilton to sign another contract at the price he wants.

Hilton has been a staple in the nickel cornerback spot since arriving in free agency from Pittsburgh in 2021. The 30-year-old amassed six interceptions and 283 tackles over that period. He had some rough stretches at points, but Hilton has been ultra-reliable for most of his Bengals tenure.

He just wrapped the final season of the four-year, $24 million deal he signed with Cincinnati before they went to the Super Bowl in his first Queen City campaign.
