Cincinnati Bengals Make Another Addition to Coaching Staff, Hiring Sean Desai as Senior Defensive Assistant

The Bengals have completely revamped their defensive staff this offseason.

CINCINNATI —The Bengals are hiring Sean Desai as a senior defensive assistant according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Desai was on the Rams staff last season. He's been a defensive coordinator for the Bears and Eagles.

It's another new addition to the Bengals' coaching staff under new defensive coordinator Al Golden.

Golden was the head coach at Temple when Desai was a Graduate Assistant from 2006-09. He was the Owls special teams coordinator and outside linebackers coach in 2010.

Desai followed Golden to the University of Miami in 2011. He was the Assistant Director of Football Operations.

Now they reunite in Cincinnati with hopes of turning around a Bengals defense that struggled last season.
