Former Cincinnati Bengals Cornerback Signing With NFC Contender

CINCINNATI — Former Bengals cornerback Eli Apple signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Apple spent two seasons with the Bengals (2021-22), helping them reach the AFC Championship Game in both years. He racked up 98 tackles and two interceptions in 31 games over that span.
The 29-year-old played for the Dolphins in 2023 and the Chargers last season. He's appeared in 14 games since leaving Cincinnati, compiling one interception and 48 tackles.
