Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Burrow led Cincinnati to a 35-17 win over Atlanta.

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week following a stellar Week 7 performance against the Falcons. 

Burrow completed 34-of-43 passes for 481 yards and three touchdowns in the 35-17 win. He also ran for 20 yards and another score. 

He became the third player in NFL history with at least 475 passing yards, three TD passes and one rushing TD in a single game, joining Norm Van Brocklin (1951) and Billy Volek (2004).

This is the third time Burrow has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week. He also won it in Week 4 of the 2021 season vs. Jacksonville, and again in Week 16 against Baltimore.
