In January, Boise State cornerback Jaylen Clark was arrested by the Ada County Sherrif's Department on charges of aggravated assault, attempted strangulation, and on suspicion of battery and false improvement. The former two charges are felonies.

The Bronco football program confirmed to local media earlier this week that Clark is officially no longer a member of the team.

Clark was released on bond shortly after his arrest. Boise State suspended Clark indefinitely in the following days.

Per reporting by The Idaho Statesman, Clark has a plea hearing later this month.

In 2023, Clark played the boundary corner position for the Broncos and started 13 games. He has two interceptions and 13 passes defended in his college career. The 21-year-old Tacoma, WA native was a three-star recruit in the class of 2019.

Boise State's spring game is scheduled for April 20.
