The 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl wrapped up in Frisco on Thursday evening with the West side scoring a convincing 26-11 victory. Throughout the week of practice and the in the game itself, a handful of prospects from the Group of Five helped their drafty stocks tremendously.

We've reviewed the tape, reviewed the stats, and these were the performances that stuck out in that regard.

Frank Gore Jr. (Southern Miss RB)

The Southern Miss "superback" looked phenomenal in Thursday's game. The son of the NFL legend totaled 87 yards on the ground and rushed for a touchdown, which earned him the offensive MVP honors.

Blake Watson (Memphis RB)

Gore was not the only running back who shined on Thursday night. The former Memphis Tiger and Old Dominion Monarch continued to build on his reputation of being a threat in the pass game, as well as the run game. Watson totaled roughly a hundred yards from scrimmage with six receptions.

Jarius Monroe (Tulane CB)

Monroe was named the defensive MVP after an interception in the second half that helped seal the win. Monroe's physicality in one-on-one coverage was also a storyline throughout the week leading up to the game itself.

Mohamed Kamara (Colorado State DE)

Kamara's abilities as a pass rusher were on display in the Shrine Bowl, particularly in the first half. He showed nice speed around the edge forcing opposing quarterbacks to make several uncomfortable throws throughout the game.

Dallin Holker (Colorado State TE)

The tight end/fullback did more of what he did during the regular season, which was make impressive contested catches in the middle of the field. He had a handful in the game, continuing to show off very soft hands and decent spatial awareness.
