Cincinnati Reds' Carson Spiers to Start on Monday Against Pittsburgh Pirates

David Bell announced on Tuesday night that Carson Spiers will start on Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Spiers has appeared in five games for the Reds so far this season, all out of the bullpen. He has a 2.33 ERA.
His last time out, Spiers came on in relief of Frankie Montas, and threw 5 2/3 innings, giving up four hits and not allowing a run. He walked a batter and struck out a career-high seven.
When asked about the rotation, David Bell said Carson Spiers will start on Monday.
