Report: Former Reds Pitcher Jakob Junis Signing With Cleveland Guardians

CINCINNATI — Former Reds pitcher Jakob Junis is signing a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the Cleveland Guardians according to ESPN's Kiley McDaniel.
The Reds acquired Junis last July from the Brewers when they sent Frankie Montas to Milwaukee. He posted a 2.85 ERA in 14 appearances with the Reds.
Junis has pitched 265 innings over the past three seasons with the Giants, Brewers and Reds.
The Guardians have a deal with RHP Jakob Junis, per sources. It’s a one year deal, pending physical, that guarantees $4.5 million to the 32-year-old swingman.

Junis can work as a starter or reliever, throwing 265 IP over the last three seasons for the Giants, Brewers, and Reds.
