New York Yankees Claim Cincinnati Reds Pitcher Owen White Off Waivers

The Reds acquired minor league pitcher Owen White in a trade with the Rangers in early January, but he was designated for assignment last week to make room for newly acquired Taylor Rogers.
On Wednesday, White was claimed off waivers by the Yankees.
The 25-year-old appeared in three games for the Rangers in 2024, giving up eight runs in three innings.
Right-hander Owen White, who as acquired by the Reds from the Rangers a month ago and DFA'd last week, has been claimed off waivers by the Yankees.
