CINCINNATI —  Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was a special guest for the New Heights Live show on Thursday. He described how Jason Kelce's Super Bowl parade speech and text to recruit him to UC in 2018 meant a lot.

Burrow closed his on-stage appearance by hammering home how much the text from Kelce meant to him after "not seeing the fruits of his labor" at Ohio State.

"You had that speech on the podium after the game that really really felt like you were talking to me at that time," Burrow said. "That made me pretty emotional. And so when you reached out to me, man, that was I was really geeked up about that because it didn't mean a lot to you probably it was just a little text but I was really going through it during that time and for you to do that. That meant a lot to me."

He didn't ultimately roll with the Bearcats, but he's close to campus now doing big things for the Bengals.
