Joe Burrow Undergoing Surgery to Remove Appendix With Training Camp Set to Start Wednesday

CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is undergoing surgery to remove his appendix according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
He'll miss practice, but is expected to be fully recovered before the start of the 2022 regular season.
Burrow, 25, was the Comeback Player of the Year in 2021. He led the Bengals to Super Bowl LVI.
The star quarterback wasn't feeling well in recent days, sources told All Bengals. His recovery timeline is unknown at this time, but he's expected to return before the Bengals' regular season opener against the Steelers on Sept. 11.
Cincinnati starts training camp on Wednesday.
