Former NFL Defensive Back Says Cincinnati Bengals Landed 'Steal' of 2024 NFL Draft

The Bengals had 10 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals took TCU cornerback Josh Newton in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Newton, 23, is 5-10, 192 pounds. He had 152 tackles, 40 passes defensed and seven interceptions in 61 career games. He spent his final two seasons at TCU.

Former NFL cornerback Will Blackmon called Newton the steal of the draft.
