Manchester City 3-1 Leicester

John Stones nailed a brilliant left-footed volley to set Manchester City on their way to a comfortable win over Leicester on Saturday evening.

The City defender's spectacular strike came just five minutes into the game at the Etihad Stadium.

It was only the seventh Premier League goal of his career.

City were 3-0 up by half-time after Erling Haaland netted twice to equal the EPL record for most goals scored in a 38-game season.

Both Stones and Haaland were subbed off at the interval as City manager Pep Guardiola looked to rest some of his star players.

Former City striker Kelechi Iheanacho pulled a goal back for Leicester but the home side held on for a 10th straight win in all competitions.

City's latest win saw them move to within three points of EPL leaders Arsenal.
