Watch: Cincinnati Reds Top Prospect Chase Burns Strikes Out Seven Over Five Innings

Cincinnati Reds top prospect Chase Burns has impressed all season in his first season as a pro and he continued his dominance on Wednesday afternoon.
Burns gave up just one run on two hits across five innings with Double-A Chattanooga. He did not walk a batter and struck out seven.
His season ERA now sits at 1.89.
Burns was selected with the second overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft. The 22-year-old dominated at Wake Forest, going 10-1 with a 2.70 ERA and 191 strikeouts in 100 innings last season.
It would be a surprise at this point if we don't see Burns in Cincinnati at some point this season.
