Cincinnati Reds Starting Pitcher Leaves Game With Injury Against Chicago Cubs

Not good.

Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Nick Lodolo left Monday's game against the Chicago Cubs with two outs in the second inning.

After a first pitch strike, Lodolo motioned to the Reds' dugout and seemed to be looking at his finger on his pitching hand.

Lodolo has dealt with blister issues in the past.

The left-hander has been having the best season of his career. He is 8-6 with a 3.09 ERS with 123 strikeouts in 128 innings.

Over his last eight starts, he's been even better, pitching to a 2.02 ERA over that span.

Nick Martinez entered the game to replace Lodolo.
