Reds' Spencer Steer Scratched from Lineup on Saturday

Steer has been dealing with a shoulder injury.

Spencer Steer was initially in the lineup as the Reds' designated hitter on Saturday afternoon, but was scratched, according to Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Steer has been battling a shoulder injury and his throwing program had recently been delayed.

Wittenmyer mentioned the cause of Steer's scratch from the lineup was yet to be known.
