Reds Superstar Elly De La Cruz Makes History With a Pair of Blistering Bombs

Reds shortstop Elly De La Cruz hit two monster home runs on Tuesday night against the Royals.
In the fourth inning, De La Cruz blasted a 3-2 fastball from Royals pitcher Jonathan Bowlan over the center field wall for his 10th home run of the season. It was hit 111.1 mph.
In his next at-bat, De La Cruz cleared the center field wall against. This time, he hit it 112.5 mph.
The young superstar became the first Reds player with multiple 110+ mph home runs in the same game in the Statcast era, according to MLB's Sarah Langs.
