The game was tied going into the sixth inning before Austin Hays reached on an infield single. Spencer Steer followed up a two-run home run, his second home run of the night and 20th home run of the season. One pitch later, Elly De La Cruz hit his first home run in 43 games and his 20th home run of the season.
