Cincinnati Reds Activate Veteran Reliever From Injured List, Option Chase Petty

In this story:
The Reds activated Ian Gibaut from the 15-day injured list and optioned Chase Petty to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday.
Gibaut was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement on April 26.
The 31-year-old has a 5.40 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings this season for Cincinnati.
Petty made two starts and gave up 13 runs on 13 hits in 5 1/3 innings. He walked seven and struck out eight.
