NBA Trade Deadline: Which Teams Are Best Equipped to Make Splash?

Given draft picks are the currency of the NBA, teams with more capital can be more flexible at the trade deadline.

As it relates to the NBA trade deadline, history tells us there will be double-digit transactions that happen today alone. Many, if not all, of these trades will include draft capital in some capacity.

As such, future draft selections are quite literally the currency of the NBA. Due to this, the teams that are loaded with picks are best equipped to make a splash over the course of the next few hours.

With that in mind, quite a few of the teams that have the most draft capital are rebuilding and won't be buyers at the deadline. However, there's a few teams like the New York Knicks, New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies that are ready to compete now and have significant draft assets.
