CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd doesn't like how the NFL is handling the coronavirus pandemic. The 26-year-old voiced his frustrations on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.
"How @NFL make us get vaccinated but then say we still have to get tested everyday? That’s BS," Boyd tweeted. "No one actually wanted to get the shot to begin with now it’s a new breakout COVID strain and it’s back to square 1 even if your vaccinated."
Boyd is arguably the Bengals' best wide receiver. He has 245 receptions for 2,915 yards and 16 touchdowns over the past three seasons.
The majority of Bengals players got the COVID-19 vaccine, but it sounds like they're going to have to start getting tested anyway, even if they are fully vaccinated.
"No one knows s--- about COVID," Boyd continued. "We was forced to take the shot."
Boyd isn't the only one in the Bengals' locker room upset about the protocols the NFL has put in place. DJ Reader is another play that has voiced his displeasure on social media.
