CINCINNATI — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is fully healthy and will be on the field for the start of training camp according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Just minutes after the team announced their PUP/NFI list, Rapoport tweeted that Burrow would be ready for Wednesday's first practice.
This isn't a major shock, considering Burrow participated in most of OTAs and minicamp. The 24-year-old suffered a devastating knee injury in November. He worked his way back and is expected to be ready to go for the start of the season.
If the Bengals are going to make a significant jump this season after winning just six games over the past two years, then they need Burrow to be 100% healthy.
This is a major step in the right direction.
