After a wild first day of free agency on Monday, Day 2 promises to bring just as much excitement.

The legal negotiating window opened at 11 a.m. CT Monday, continuing through the official opening of free agency at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. We'll be tracking the moves and rumors all day Tuesday.

2:07 p.m. — Rodgers holding out hope for Vikings?

According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, Rodgers' suitors were between the Steelers and Giants on Tuesday morning, but he says "there are people around the league who believe Rodgers is still holding out at least some hope that the Minnesota Vikings might turn to him as their veteran 'bridge' option after losing Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones in free agency.

He adds, however, that indications out of Minnesota are that the Vikings "aren't likely to go down that road for fear of impeding J.J. McCarthy's path to the starting job once he's ready."

1:41 p.m. — Cooper Kupp to the Vikings a possibility?

According to a person who was listening to KFAN, the Star Tribune's Ben Goessling allegedly said wide receiver Cooper Kupp ending up with the Vikings is a real possibility. We'll start digging on this for more concrete information and an exact quote from Goessling.

11:53 a.m. — QB conversation in Minnesota raising eyebrows?

In the Vikings' organization, Kevin O'Connell's opinion carries the most weight when it comes to QB decisions. There are some very interesting conversations taking place right now," says Michael Silver.

10:36 a.m. — Vikings told Daniel Jones they were moving on

"The [Vikings] tried to retain Daniel Jones. But when it became apparent Jones wasn’t convicted about returning, Minnesota told him they were moving on," says NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. "Jones accepted the [Colts’] 1-year offer and J.J. McCarthy is now likely QB1."

10:17 a.m. — Silver keeps the Aaron Rodgers buzz alive

NFL insider Michael Silver isn't letting the Aaron Rodgers-Vikings vibes die. After Daniel Jones reportedly signed with the Colts, Silver posted on X: "Don't rule out Aaron Rodgers and the Vikings."

9:52 a.m. — Daniel Jones picks the Colts over the Vikings

According to multiple insiders, Jones is signing with the Colts on a one-year, $14 million deal. As Tom Pelissero tweeted, "it is now considered likely that J.J. McCarthy will be the Vikings' starting QB in 2025."

8:44 a.m. — Vikings closing in on defensive tackle Javon Hargrave

8:31 a.m. — Vikings give guard Will Fries $88 million

A five-year, $88 million deal for one of the top free agent guards on the market, Will Fries. He instantly becomes Minnesota's starter at right guard, right next to his former Colts teammate Ryan Kelly at center.

7:15 a.m. — Vikings reach three-year deal with Jonathan Allen

Minnesota had Allen in for a visit on Monday and the deal was reported early Tuesday, with Adam Schefter saying it's a three-year agreement worth $60 million. The Vikings get their upgrade on the interior defensive line.
