The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors began their 2024 Spring practice sessions well before any other FBS program. Then again, "winter" weather in Honolulu allows for such a thing.

Hawaii began those sessions on January 29. Their Spring will culminate in their 2024 Spring Game this Sunday, February 25, at UH's Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Complex. Fans will be admitted free of charge. Kickoff is set for 5 PM, local time.

Hawaii will enter the third season of Timmy Chang's time as the program's head coach in 2024. Chang led the Warriors to a record of 5-8 in 2023 after a 3-10 showing in 2022. Hawaii won three of their last four games to finish the 2023 season.

Starting quarterback Brayden Schager also returns for his senior season after throwing for 26 touchdowns and 3542 yards in 2023. Wide receiver Steven McBride also returns after 63 catches for 1024 yards and nine touchdown catches last season.

"We've got a lot of guys coming back on the offense and I think it's really just about getting on the same page this offseason," Schager recently told ESPN Honolulu. "It's about all the little offseason workouts, it's about working hard and making sure we're on the same page with everything...Hopefully we can carry it into the season. We've just got to have a really good offseason though."

Hawaii are set to open the 2024 regular season on Saturday, August 24, when they host FCS foe Delaware State.
