Two Cincinnati Reds Prospects Named Player of the Week

Reds prospects Carlos Sanchez and Jose Franco were both named Player of the Week this past week.

Sanchez was named Florida State League Player of the Week and Franco was named Southern League Pitcher of the Week.

Sanchez slashed .400/.455/.800 with an OPS of 1.255 this past week for the Daytona Tortugas.

Franco threw five shutout innings, allowing just one hit while striking out nine batters for the Chattanooga Lookouts.
