Concern Grows: Cincinnati Reds Ace Getting Second Opinion on Injury

In this story:
Cincinnati Reds ace Hunter Greene is headed to Los Angeles to get a second medical opinion on his back and groin, according to Gordon Wittenmyer of The Enquirer.
During Saturday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Jim Day provided an update on the 25-year-old.
"He had the MRI on the groin area and that came back clean," Day said. "There is no further injury to that, but there is a catch to it. He was experiencing some problems with his lower back and even into his hip area. They're trying to figure out whether or not that was related to the groin."
Greene had been putting together one of the best seasons of his career. He had a 2.72 ERA, a WHIP of 0.97, and 73 strikeouts in 59 2/3 innings.
Wade Miley will take Greene's spot in the rotation and is scheduled to start for Cincinnati against the Cleveland Guardians on Monday night.
