Cincinnati Reds Place Carson Spiers on Injured List, Call Up Randy Wynne for Sunday's Matchup vs Orioles

The Cincinnati Reds placed Carson Spiers on the 15-day injured list and called up Randy Wynne from Triple-A Louisville before Sunday's game against the Baltimore Orioles.
Spiers gave up four runs on five hits over four innings on Saturday.
“He was out of gas, and I knew it, and DJ knew it," Reds manager Terry Francona told Charlie Goldsmith. "There wasn’t really anything we could do about it.”
Wynne has made one career start in the majors tossing 3 1/3 innings and allowing one run in July 2023 against the Atlanta Braves.
The veteran has a 4.69 ERA over 127 games in the minor leagues.
