Cincinnati Reds Place Veteran Pitcher on Injured List, Recall Familiar Face

In this story:
The Cincinnati Reds placed relief pitcher Ian Gibaut on the 15-day injured list on Monday and recalled left-handed pitcher Joe La Sorsa from Triple-A Louisville.
Gibaut is being placed on the injured list with right shoulder impingement. He has pitched in 25 games for Cincinnati this season with an ERA of 4.62.
La Sorsa has appeared in two games for the Reds this season. The left-hander gave up four runs on five hits in two innings of work.
He has made 25 appearances for Triple-A Louisville this season with an ERA of 3.70.
