'I Think That's Great' - Chase Brown Welcome to a New Bengals Running Back, Stacking Progress This Offseason

In this story:
CINCINNATI — All smiles from Chase Brown in his first comments to the media during the Bengals offseason workout program.
Brown is locked in for his third season, ready to welcome a fresh name to the running back room like Joe Mixon did with him in the spring of 2023.
"I think that's great, bringing in a new body, having Samaje here, who had a really good season for the Bengals when he was here," Brown said about the addition of Perine and possibly more. "So it'll be cool working with him and whoever they bring in, and showing the rookie the ropes just kind of give him pointers here and there, just like Joe Mixon did for me when I came in my rookie year."
Brown broke out as the Bengals' lead running back last season with 990 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 4.3 yards per carry to complement 54 catches for 360 yards and four scores.
He's proving to be a complete running back, boosting his Pro Football Focus pass-blocking grade from 26.7 overall in 2023 to 62.7 in his sophomore season.
"Building a routine," Brown said about what he's most focused on this offseason. "I like getting to my routine right now so I can kind of build that up going into training camp and the season. So that's my main thing. For other people, it might be getting in the weight room again, or whatever that is, but I feel pretty good with where I'm at physically, and where I'm at mentally, so for me, it's just building a routine."
