Cincinnati Bengals Veteran Named to NFLPA Executive Committee

CINCINNATI — The Bengals have one of their own on the NFL Player's Association executive committee. Center Ted Karras is the newest member of the group. NBC Sports's Mike Florio reported the news.
Karras replaced Bengals safety Mike Thomas, who retired last year.
“I’ve been involved with the NFLPA for a long time and have seen the great work that guys like Michael Thomas and Austin Ekeler have done,” Karras said in a press release from the NFLPA. “My biggest thing will be educating and informing our player population on not only what the union does, but the benefits and programming that have been created for players. I’m excited to get to work and help lead this union.”
Karras has played in the NFL since 2016, spending five years with New England, one in Miami, and the past three seasons in Cincinnati.
