Browns Joe Thomas to Enter Pro Football Hall of Fame With Class of 2023
Cleveland Browns will soon have their 18th member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame as longtime left tackle Joe Thomas was selected as a member of the class of 2023 during the NFL Honors on Thursday night.
Thomas was an Ironman for the Browns out left for more than 10 seasons where he never missed a snap. Thomas did not miss a game until his career came to a half with an injury seven games into his 11th season. He definitely earned this first ballot nod.
As long as he played, Thomas was known for rarely allowing the quarterback to be sacked or a committing a holding penalty. Thomas dominated his opposition for the width of his career from 2007-2017 after being a first round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.
Cleveland went 48-128 in the time of Thomas' 11 years, but zero of that had to do with him. One of the game's best offensive linemen to ever play was a no-brainer to enter the hall.
