Transfer Portal: Kurtis Rourke, Former Ohio QB, Commits To Indiana

Another one of the top G5 quarterbacks in the transfer portal has a new home. 

Former Ohio Bobcats starter and 2022 MAC Offensive Player of the Year Kurtis Rourke announced his commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining.

Indiana hired former James Madison University head coach Curt Cignetti to lead the program a few weeks ago. Cignetti has had transfers as starting quarterbacks each of his previous two seasons at JMU.

Rourke has been the full-time starter for Ohio each of the last three seasons. He's got a 66.3 career completion percentage with 7,666 passing yards, 50 passing touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. In the last two seasons, Rourke has a record of 16-6 as the starter.

The Oakville, Ontario native is listed at 6'5" and 231 pounds. 

Indiana hosts FIU to open the 2024 season on August 31.
