Reds Outfielder Earns Top Ohio Cup Honor After Standout Performance

In this story:
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Will Benson was named the Ohio Cup's Frank Robinson Most Outdstanding Player.
Benson, who was traded to the Reds from Cleveland in 2023, slashed .474/.500/1.158 with four home runs and eight RBIs in the six games against the Guardians this season.
The 25-year-old is slashing .244/.309/.500 with six home runs and 10 extra-base hits in 28 games for the Reds this season.
Benson started the season with Triple-A Louisville, but played well enough down there to earn a spot with the big league roster and he's earned himself a starting role whenever the Reds are facing a right-handed starting pitcher.
