CINCINNATI — The Reds placed outfielder Austin Hays on the 10-day injured list due to a left foot contusion that he suffered on Wednesday when he fouled a ball off of his foot against the Royals.
The Reds also activated Jake Fraley off of the 10-day injured list and recalled right-hander Lyon Richardson
Cincinnati is in Chicago to play a three-game set with the Cubs. The Reds are 28-29 on the season. They're 7.5 games behind the Cubs in the National League Central.
