Cincinnati Bengals Star Ja'Marr Chase Ranked Lower Than Expected in 2021 NFL Draft Rankings

CINCINNATI — FOX Sports looked back at the 2021 NFL Draft recently and ranked the top 10 players from an elite class. Cincinnati made the best of two great options by picking Ja'Marr Chase over Penei Sewell.

Chase was No. 2 behind Micah Parsons, while Sewell was next at No. 3.

Parsons, Chase and Sewell boast the most Approximate Value so far according to Pro Football Reference.

Parsons is the clear leader at 56 weighted approximate value, while Sewell is second (52) and Chase is third (48).

The thing that really stands out is Creed Humphrey (7) and Trey Smith (9) both making the list. The Bengals chose Jackson Carman over both guys in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
