Justin Jefferson: 'After This Year I'll Be the Best Receiver in the NFL'
CINCINNATI — Ja'Marr Chase might've been ranked ahead of Justin Jefferson in the latest wide receiver rankings, but that doesn't mean the Vikings' star doesn't expect to surpass his former college teammate this season.
"I'll say after this year, I'll be the best receiver in the NFL," Jefferson told Complex. "I definitely have to give it to Davante (Adams) as of now ... But I'm pretty sure after this year, it's going to be me."
Jefferson was fourth in ESPN's rankings. Adams was first, followed by Cooper Kupp and Chase.
Chase and Jefferson were teammates at LSU. They recently worked out with Joe Burrow in California.
Both Chase and Jefferson are off to record-setting starts to their NFL careers. There's no reason why both guys can be top wide receivers in the league for a long time.
