Northwestern Hiring Cincinnati Bengals Area Scout Christian Sarkisian to be Next General Manager

CINCINNATI — Northwestern is hiring Bengals area scout Christian Sarkisian as their new athletic department's general manager according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Sarkisian was a key piece of the Bengals' front office in recent seasons, helping them throughout the evaluation process of all of their draft picks.
Sarkisian is a Northwestern graduate that worked for the school prior to joining the Bengals' front office in 2018.
"Christian is Northwestern all the way. Bleeds purple and whatever else it is," Mark Duffner told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com in 2022. Bengals senior defensive assistant. "He's very thorough. Very direct. He gives you the information you need."
Sarkisian may be getting his dream job. He'll oversee all aspects of Northwestern athletics, including their salary cap. Obviously his main focus will be on football.
Sarkisian was a part of the Bengals' turnaround over the past few seasons. That success certainly helped him land the job at Northwestern.
