Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin Shoots Down Rumors About USC Job
CINCINNATI — Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin shot down rumors and speculation about him potentially being interested in the head coaching vacancy at USC on Tuesday.
"I don't have time for that speculation. That's a joke to me. I got one of the best jobs in all of professional sports. Why would I have any interest in coaching college football?" Tomlin asked. "Never say never, but never. OK? Anybody else got any questions about any college jobs? There's not a booster with a big enough blank check."
USC alum Carson Palmer mentioned Tomlin as a potential candidate for the vacancy on Monday. He clearly disagreed with the former Bengals, Raiders and Cardinals quarterback.
