PFF Names Bengals Linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. as Favorite 2025 Cincinnati Draft Pick

The Bengals took two linebackers this past weekend.

CINCINNATI — Pro Football Focus analyst Trevor Sikkema rattled off his favorite 2025 NFL Draft pick for each team this week. Cincinnati's second-round selection of Demetrius Knight Jr. took the crown for the Bengals.

The 24-year-old brings a mature, experienced profile to the Queen City.

"When the Bengals defense was at its best—in the team's 2021 season—it had top-tier linebacker play," Sikkema wrote. "The unit lacked playmakers around middle linebacker Logan Wilson heading into the draft, and that's where Knight fills a big hole. He can use his speed as an ideal weakside linebacker next to Wilson."

Knight was the consensus second-best linebacker in the draft and played over 1,100 snaps in the past two seasons. He amassed an 82.5 PFF grade last season with 74-plus grades in every major category.
