Look: Maxx Crosby Gets Market Re-Setting Deal, Which Impacts Trey Hendrickson's Future With Bengals

In this story:
CINCINNATI — Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby agreed to a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with $91.5 million guaranteed on Wednesday according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
That gives Trey Hendrickson more leverage in his contract talks with the Bengals.
The 30-year-old is entering the final year of his deal with Cincinnati. He's asking the Bengals for $30+ million per season.
Hendrickson led the NFL in sacks with 17.5 last season. He has 35 sacks over the past two years.
Meanwhile, Crosby had 7.5 sacks last season, as he dealt with multiple injuries and has 22 sacks over the past two years. Crosby is also three years younger than Hendrickson, but his new contract helps top edge rushers across the NFL.
Crosby is the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history in average annual salary ($35.5 million).
At $35.5M per year, the edge market takes a jump. And this is very good news for Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons, Trey Hendrickson and more. https://t.co/rZ97dnDpxR
