Watch: Ja'Marr Chase Looks Smooth, While Jessie Bates Makes a Great Play in Team Drills
CINCINNATI — The Bengals only practiced for about an hour on Thursday afternoon. They did some special teams work and got their back ups plenty of reps ahead of Saturday's preseason game against the Buccaneers.
That didn't stop Joe Burrow from finding Ja'Marr Chase in 7-on-7s. The rookie wide receiver ran a smooth route and caught a pass for 10 yards. Jessie Bates made a nice play on the ball on the very next play, batting down Burrow's throw to Tyler Boyd.
