Chad Johnson Praises Ja'Marr Chase and Jaylen Waddle After Working Out With Young Star Wide Receivers
CINCINNATI — Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson worked out with Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase on Tuesday afternoon.
Johnson played cornerback against multiple wide-outs, including Chase, Jaylen Waddle and former NFL receiver Brandon Marshall.
Ochocinco had nothing but praise for Chase and Waddle following the session.
"Had the joy of watching Ja’Marr run routes up close, motherf----- is smoother than melted butter with little to no wasted movement at all," Johnson tweeted. "Waddle is so got damn explosive it looks like he’s coming out the blocks in a 100 meter race. These f------ are really good."
Chase set multiple records as a rookie, finishing with 81 receptions for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Waddle set a rookie record with 104 receptions for the Dolphins, compiling 1,015 yards and six scores in the process.
