Reunion Coming? Bengals Open to Re-Signing Larry Ogunjobi

The veteran had 49 tackles and seven sacks last season.

CINCINNATI — Could Larry Ogunjobi return to the Bengals next season?

The veteran failed his physical after agreeing to a three-year, $40.5 million contract with the Bears, which means he's a free agent.

The 27-year-old spent the 2021 season in Cincinnati, finishing with 49 tackles and seven sacks in 16 games.

Could the Bengals re-sign Ogunjobi? It's possible according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

"Bringing back Larry Ogunjobi is a possibility, I'm told, but he'll want starter's money that Cincinnati might not have," Fowler wrote

The Bengals signed B.J. Hill to a three-year, $30 million contract. They certainly aren't willing to give Ogunjobi huge money, but the longer he's on the market, the more likely his asking price is going to drop.

He would be a nice addition to a defensive line group that needs another interior pass rusher.
