Report: Cardinals OC Drew Petzing has Interest in Browns Personnel Following him to Arizona
Former Cleveland Browns quarterback coach Drew Petzing has an interest in bringing some former colleagues with him to Arizona Cardinals. Petzing, the Cardinals offensive coordinator, has expressed interest in bringing over offensive quality control coach Ashton Grant and diversity coaching fellow Israel Woolfork to Arizona. The news was reported by Josina Anderson.
Petzing was with the Browns from 2020-22, before leaving to join Jonathan Gannon's staff with the Cardinals.
Grant has been with the Browns for three seasons after being the first recipient of the Bill Willis Coaching Fellowship. Following that stint, Grant received a job with the Browns. Grant was the wide receivers coach for the West team in the 2022 Shrine Bowl.
Woolfork is currently with the Browns as part of the coaching fellowship. Cleveland created the opportunity for a rising minority coach with a focus on the offensive side of the ball. Specifically, with the Browns, Woolfork has worked with the tight ends.
Expect slight coaching changes to continue happening for the Browns as the off-season begins.
