At the time, Houston Rockets center had already accomplished enough.

He won back-to-back NBA championships and captured a regular season MVP and Defensive Player of the Year award.

Yet he still found a way to add another feat to impressive list of accolades.

On this day, Olajuwon had the rarest of triple-doubles. He finished with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocks in a win against the Dallas Mavericks. If that wasn't enough, he also hit the winning basket.

At the time, the Rockets were in the process of taking over for Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. When Jordan retired in 1993, the Rockets picked up where he left off. Olajuwon led Houston to consecutive championships, defeating the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic.

Unfortunately, a few weeks after this performance they were eliminated from the postseason by Seattle Supersonics, ending their reign atop the league.
