Al Nassr Sign Marcelo Brozovic After Outbidding Barcelona

Marcelo Brozovic will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo next season after completing a transfer from Inter Milan to Al Nassr on Monday.

Brozovic became the latest European star to join a team in Saudi Arabia when he left Inter following eight and a half years at the San Siro.

The Croatia midfielder, 30, won five trophies during his time with Inter and was part of the side that lost 1-0 to Manchester City in last season's UEFA Champions League final.

Barcelona were also said to be interested in signing Brozovic this summer but were unwilling to match the offer tabled by Al Nassr, according to BBC Sport.

That offer was widely reported to be in the region of €18 million.

Brozovic has signed a contract with Al Nassr until June 2026.

Al Nassr finished second in the Saudi Pro League last season, five points behind champions Al-Ittihad, who signed Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante last month.
