Joe Burrow Makes Statement About Bengals Latest Scheduled Road Trip to Baltimore

CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow is well aware the Bengals got the short end of the stick with their games against the Ravens again this season. Somehow, the Bengals are making dubious history by playing the Ravens in Baltimore on a Thursday night for the third straight season (Thanksgiving).
The Bengals have hosted the Ravens on a Thursday night just once since 2006. According to Warren Sharp, it marks the fourth time in league history a team has played an opponent on the road three straight years on Thursday. Cincinnati's quarterback knows it's a disadvantage.
"Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight primetime year isn't ideal. Maybe we could get one of those in Cincinnati next year, please," Burrow said about his schedule thoughts.
It's arguably outrageous how much the Bengals have been held at a disadvantage in this series schedule of late. Baltimore has won the past two home meetings against Cincinnati and is 9-0 on Thursday night overall in the past 20 years.
Having to travel in the NFL's shortest game week is a massive disadvantage, especially against a perennial division contender. Burrow is well within reason to ask for this to flip at least once.
